I am a researcher in Biomedical Engineering with a strong background in biomaterials and bioactive glass systems, developed through over a decade of research experience at NIT Rourkela. My work focuses on the design, synthesis, and characterization of bioglass-based materials for bone tissue engineering, including the development of 3D scaffolds, biomimetic coatings, and functional biomaterials. I have hands-on expertise in advanced characterization techniques and in-vitro biological evaluation, along with publications in peer-reviewed journals and a book chapter. Alongside experimental research, I actively explore the integration of artificial intelligence, computational biology, and mathematical modelling to understand material–biological interactions and to optimize biomaterial design. I am also deeply committed to teaching and mentoring students, guiding projects that bridge biomaterials with data-driven and computational approaches. I strive to create a learning environment that encourages curiosity, clarity, and practical thinking, while continuing to grow as a researcher working toward meaningful and translational healthcare solutions.
