Dr. R. Maheswar has completed his B.E (ECE) from Madras University in the year 1999, M.E (Applied Electronics) from Bharathiyar University in the year 2002 and Ph.D in the field of Wireless Sensor Network from Anna University in the year 2012. He has received a Post-Doctoral equivalent research work accomplishment from Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain, for successful collaborative research outcomes from November 2021 to October 2022 in the area of Wireless Sensor Network through online mode. He is also a postdoc fellow of Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), Malaysia. He has about 24 years of teaching and research experience at various levels and associated with University of Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic as a visiting researcher from 2020 to 2024. He is also listed in World's Top 2% scientist released by The Stanford University & Elsevier. His research interest includes Wireless Sensor Network, IoT, Queueing theory and Performance Evaluation. He is presently working as Head in the Centre for Research and Development as well as Professor in the Department of ECE, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, India. Prior to KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, he was associated as Dean - Research and Dean - School of EEE at VIT Bhopal University for 3 years. He has involved as a project investigator sponsored by DST, AICTE and CDAC-MietY and received grants around 52 Lakhs from various Government funding agencies. He has produced 7 Ph.D scholars and presently supervising 8 Ph.D scholars. He has 10+ years of editorial experience in many peer reviewed journals and associated closely with Elsevier, Springer, IET, Wiley, Sage, Old City, MDPI, Inderscience, Taylor and Francis and few more publishers. He is presently an Associate Editor/Academic Editor in 10+ SCI/WoS journals which includes Alexandria Engineering Journal, Wireless Networks, Sustainable Computing, Scientific Reports-Nature, Adhoc Sensor and Wireless Networks, IET Electronics Letters, IET Networks, IET Software, Discover Computing, Discover IoT, Journal of Communications, Smart Sensing and Intelligent Systems, Journal of Sensors and few more. He is also in Topical Advisory Panel in Telecom and Journal of Low Power Electronics and Applications journals. He has served as a guest editor for Wireless Networks Journal - Springer, WCMC - Hindawi, IJAHUC - Inderscience, MDPI Energies and completed many special issues as Lead Guest Editor and also been serving as a review board member for many peer reviewed journals. He has published 130 articles in reputed journals, conferences and as book chapters. He has authored two books titled, "Received Signal Strength Based Target Localization and Tracking Using Wireless Sensor Networks", Springer and "Digital Twins and Cybersecurity: Safeguarding the Future of Connected Systems", WIley. He has also edited 12 books supported by Springer, Wiley, MDPI and Inderscience. He has acted as an Advisory Committee and Review Committee Member for various IEEE International Conferences and also a Senior Member of IEEE and lifetime member of ISTE.
