Dr Shankar's research interests lie in Photocatalysis and Electrocatalysis, which are the most important routes for the conversion of solar light in to chemical and electrical energy. He has 6+ years of Post-Doctoral Research experience at HUJI, Israel & University of Bologna, Italy. He is currently involved in exploring the materials-based solution for energy and environmental issues such as photocatalytic water treatment, photovoltaic materials, and Fuel cell applications, etc.
