About me
Dr. Kaushik Misra, is a Synthetic Organic Chemist (CSIR-UGC fellow) & Resourceful Researcher, currently working as an Assistant Professor (III), Department of Chemistry and Centre for Research & Development at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. He received his Ph.D in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, West Bengal. Subsequently, he joined as Research Associates at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, West Bengal. Prior to joining KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, he was associated as an Assistant Professor at Techno India University, West Bengal. In addition, he was designated as University Coordinator of Techno India University for several statutory bodies; governed by the Indian government. Dr. Misra has over 15 years of research expertise in organic chemistry. His scientific interests are mostly in organic synthesis, particularly in medicinal chemistry, and his expertise includes in vitro and in vivo animal experiments using synthesized organic molecules including amide linkage. In addition, his expertise grew to include green synthesis, polyphenols, biocatalysts, waste to wealth, and atom economy. He has written one book chapter and published a number of international research publications, and delivered several scientific papers at national and international conferences. He has also served on review boards for peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Misra has supervised various undergraduate and postgraduate students.
