FINANCIAL SCHEMES AND CAREER OPPORTUNITIES FOR COMMUNITY RESERVATION STUDENTS, KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

The outcomes of these schemes can vary depending on various factors such as the implementation, reach, and effectiveness of the scheme. However, in general, the SC ST financial schemes have had a positive impact on the economic empowerment of the beneficiaries. Overall, the SC ST financial schemes have been instrumental in improving the economic and social conditions of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes communities in India. However, there is still a lot of work to be done to ensure that the benefits of these schemes reach all those who need them.

The SC ST cell of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology organized an awareness event for SC/ST students on 'Financial Schemes and Career Opportunities for Community Reservation Students on 29.04.2023 at 11.00 to 12.30 in Thanam Hall . The event aimed to educate the SC ST students and community members about the various financial schemes and scholarships available for them to encourage their economic and educational empowerment. The event began with an introduction to the SC ST cell and its objectives. This was followed by a presentation on the various financial schemes and scholarships available for SC ST students and community members. The presentation covered a wide range of schemes, including loans for self-employment, skill development, education, and housing, as well as scholarships for higher education. The presentation was followed by a Q&A session where participants had the opportunity to ask questions about the schemes and scholarships. The SC ST cell members provided detailed answers and addressed any doubts or concerns raised by the participants. The event also featured speeches by SC ST community leaders and successful SC ST entrepreneurs who shared their personal experiences of availing of these financial schemes and scholarships. They spoke about how these schemes had helped them start and grow their businesses, pursue higher education, and improve their living standards. The event was well-received by the participants, who found the information provided to be very useful. Many participants expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to learn about these schemes and scholarships, which they were previously unaware of. It helped to raise awareness among the SC ST community about the financial support available to them and how they could avail of it. It also helped to dispel some of the myths and misconceptions surrounding these schemes and scholarships and encouraged the community to take advantage of the opportunities available to them. Overall, the event was a success in achieving its objectives of educating the SC ST community about the various financial schemes and scholarships available for their economic and educational empowerment. It was an excellent initiative by the SC ST cell of our institution, and we look forward to more such events in the future.
