Students got awareness about Outcome based education which is the main component of NBA accreditation
Summary
The awareness program on “Outcome based education”  was organized by the  department of ECE in coordination with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology on 29.10.2022 through offline mode in III ECE C classroom.
The session was started by 10:00am. The session was handled by Dr.B.Jaishankar, Professor, department of ECE, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology.  During the session, the resource persons gave insight of  course outcomes, Program outcome, program specific outcome and significance of outcome based education. Outcome-Based Education (OBE) is a student-centric teaching and learning methodology in which the course delivery, assessment are planned to achieve stated objectives and outcomes. It focuses on measuring student performance i.e. outcomes at different levels.
He discussed some important aspects of the Outcome Based Education given below

4. Programme Outcomes (POs)
5. Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
6. Programme Specific Outcomes (PSO)
7. Graduate Attributes (GA)
 Totally, 67 participants are participated in this seminar.  The session is highly motivated and created an awareness among the participants to enrich their skills to become globally competent. The participants are actively participated during the session and showed very much interest and posted many questions during the session. 
The webinar was coordinated by Dr.V.Seethalakshmi,  Professor, department of ECE and Dr.M.Kalamani, Professor, department of ECE.  Dr.M.Kalamani delivered the vote of thanks and the program came to an end at 11:00 am. This event was well appreciated by the participants through oral feedback taken and requested to organize the similar programs in future.
