The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (TechnoWatt), KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, in association with CIIED and TANGEDCO, is organizing an Energy Conservation Day awareness road show to promote responsible and efficient use of electrical energy. The initiative aims to educate the public on the importance of conserving energy, reducing power wastage, and adopting sustainable energy practices in daily life. Faculty members, students, and energy professionals will actively participate in spreading awareness through slogans, placards, and direct interaction with the public. The road show is scheduled on 18 December 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and will cover the route from Karumathampatti Bus Stop to Somanur Power House. The event emphasizes individual responsibility in achieving a sustainable future and conveys the message, “Be Aware. Save Energy. Secure the Future.”
