School Mental Health & Career Guidance Programme
As part of the Mental Health Awareness and Student Well-being Initiative, an interactive psychological awareness session was conducted for Classes 10, 11 and 12 students.
The sessions focused on helping students understand and manage academic stress, examination fear, performance pressure, emotional challenges and career-related confusion. Students were introduced to practical techniques such as breathing exercises, grounding, time management, focused study strategies and healthy coping mechanisms.
Special emphasis was given to parental and academic expectations, peer comparison and the pressure students experience regarding marks and future career choices. Students were provided with a safe and interactive space to express their thoughts and expectations through activities and discussions.
The 11th and 12th standard sessions also included career guidance, focusing on self-awareness, identifying interests and strengths, exploring career options, and making informed educational choices rather than choosing a career solely based on external expectations.
