The 'Fun with Language' event held on 19th September 2023 marked an engaging and informative session as part of the I Year Induction Program at KPRIET. Ms. Brindha S, Assistant Professor (Sr.G), Department of English, KPRIET, led the session. The event was aimed at exploring various aspects of language and communication in a fun and interactive manner. The event consisted of a series of fun activities and discussions that aimed to enhance students' understanding of language and communication. She presented a list of recently added words to the dictionary and engaged students in discussions about the cultural and societal influences that lead to the inclusion of new vocabulary. It encouraged students to reflect on the vitality of communication and how language evolves to meet the needs of contemporary society. The students were challenged to correctly pronounce the names of international car brand, highlighting the vitality of correct pronunciation. The interactive approach made the event both educational and enjoyable for all participants. The 'Fun with Language' event offered students a unique and an engaging perspective on communication.
