The EKKI-KPRIET International Water Technology Centre (EIWTC) conducted a value added course on “Centrifugal Pumps - Design, Analysis and Testing” for second year EEE, Mechanical and Civil students in association with department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering on 21/11/2023. A heart-warming welcome was delivered by Prof.B.Lalitha, AP (Sr.G)/EEE and Dr.K.Mohana Sundharam addressed the gathering and shared the glimpse of EIWTC. The session details are opportunities in pump sector, drive technologies in pumps, pump selection & application, cavitation, pump installation and trouble shooting and pump performance testing. The sessions was handled by Prof.V.Bhuvaneswari, AP (Sr.G)/Mech, Prof.B.Lalitha, AP(Sr.G)/EEE and Prof.C.J.Vignesh, AP (Sr.G)/EEE . Nearly 17 second year of EEE, Mech and Civil students were participated in the value added course. The organizer made all the necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of the program. The program was concluded with the feedback session and certificate distribution to the participants. Prof.C.J.Vignesh, AP (Sr.G) delivered the vote of thanks. This EKKI-KPRIET International Water Technology Centre facilitates the students to serve as interns in the college premises rather than reaching out to the industry.
