KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology organized a One day webinar on βBiological Applications of Discrete Mathematicsβ on 29th of September, 2023 at 10.00 am to 12.30 pm. The Speaker of the lecture was Dr. Yamuna M, Professor (Grade I), Department of Mathematics, School of Advance Sciences, VIT University, Vellore. The Convener of the workshop was Dr. Karthikeyan K, Professor and Head, Department of Mathematics, KPRIET. The coordinator of the workshop was Dr. Myvizhi M, Assistant Professor (Sl.G) and Ms. Narmatha M, Assistant Professor (Sr.G), Department of Mathematics, KPRIET.
Dr.M.Myvizhi, Assistant Professor (Sl.G), Department of Mathematics, welcomes the gathering. The resource person of the workshop was Dr. Yamuna M, Professor (Grade I), Department of Mathematics, School of Advance Sciences, VIT University, Vellore. She described about the benefits of Biological Applications of Discrete Mathematics. She enriches her knowledge in the presence of Discrete Mathematics to the participants. The session was so informative and innovative to the participants and also they have a clear idea about basics of Discrete Mathematics. The participants effectively interacted with the Resource person in an effective manner with interactive lessons. The active participation of the participants made the resource person extend the timing of the webinar. The doubts of the participants were efficiently clarified during and at the end of the session by the resource person.
Around 30 participants were attended. Through the feedback session, it was clearly identified that the participants enjoyed the session and found it useful and informative, the resource person was friendly and approachable.
