INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON ENERGY MATERIALS AND MODELING FOR FUTURE TECHNOLOGY [EMMFT-2023], KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

This workshop is proposed to be organized at KPR Institution on 28th November, 2023. The theme emphasizes the significance of materials development, various characteristics and optimization to draw the potential applications of Emerging materials including Nanotechnology. The workshop would also give an exposure to the participants regarding the advances in recent development in emerging materials and modelling for future technologies through the lectures by professional and expert in those fields.Totally around 400 participants attended the event. The details of the participants are attached in the list below. All feed back was satisfactory. Our beloved principal Prof Ramasamy, KPRIET gave the inaugural Address, Prof Ananth, Head -Physics, welcome the Guests and gathering. Dr. Shankar.spoke about the workshop and the guests. Dr. Ranjith gave the vote of Thanks. The highlight of the event was Award distribution to eminent Professor, Dr. Selvakumar, University of waterloo, Canada and DrJohn Brito Dhas, Tirupatur. Prof Selvakumar was awarded life-time achievement award for his contribution in Scientific Tamil and Dr Brito was awarded with young achiever award. After the inagural ceremondy all the speakers delivered their lecture. Afternoon session was hands on training which was held in the Materials characterization lab.
