EKKI-KPRIET International Water Technology Center, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore had conducted the “Fluid Hackathon” event in association with department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering on 10.02.2024 open to students. Totally 11 teams participated, the 8 teams created the prototype model for waste water treatment, IoT based water management system, AI based water well and smart irrigation system and 3 teams created an app for water management system. Among these the following ideas are good and well presented, III chemical students designed the dye water filtration plant using sky leaf, II mechanical students designed the detection of water leakage using flow detector, III CSE students designed the IoT based ground water monitoring system and created the water management system app for apartments. All the teams developed their model/app only during the event. The event concluded with certificate distribution.
