REPORT ON CONTEST “CAD RIDDLE 1.0”
The Department of Civil Engineering of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology conducted a contest “CAD RIDDLE 1.0” on 08.05.2022. The main aim of this Contest is to make the students design and draw the Building Plan as per the given requirement and also to test their creativity level of brief basic and advanced amenities in construction sectors.
Totally 45 student participants and 2 faculties from various colleges in India like NIT- Calicut, NIT Rourkela, IIEST shibpur, and Lovely provisional university-Punjab have participated in the contest online.
In this contest, participants are instructed to create the general layout of the house in their innovative ways with additional features like a backyard, children’s play area, a lawn & seating area, and a garden.
And also, instructed to write an abstract not more than 250 words in which it must describe a feasible solution for the project to become environmentally friendly and sustainable.
