Chemical Process Industries and allied sectors are undergoing a shift in their paradigm in recent years. Women empowerment and promotion of equality in workplace is emphasized in UNSDG as well. We see a good increase in the number of women employees. Women Graduate chemical engineers are highly wanted in process engineering domain. The session highlighted about the opportunities for women in process engineering and process industries. Owing to the recent advancements in process industries, chemical process design and engineering opportunities are found to be upcoming. It is momentous to highlight such opportunities to female students of chemical engineering. The session also focused on the skill-set required for making use of such opportunities and achieve a great career in process engineering. Key recruiters like Schlumberger, Technip, Saipem, Quest Global, etc are providing such opportunities to female chemical engineers.
