Around 200 students of I, II, and III year students of Mechanical Engineering benefitted from the lecture. The expert lecture on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) by Ms. Aishwarya Rajashekaran, Manage JCCs, Bosch has provided students with valuable insights into the technology shaping modern automotive safety and automation. The session covered the essential components of ADAS, including sensors, cameras, radar, LiDAR, and control units, which work together to enhance vehicle intelligence. Students also learned about the five levels of ADAS, ranging from basic driver assistance (Level 1) to full automation (Level 5), highlighting the progressive integration of automation in vehicles. The lecture offered a practical understanding of how ADAS improves road safety, reduces human error, and paves the way for autonomous driving.
