Hands on Training on "Non Destructive Testing", KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

The training session on Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Methods was successfully conducted on 8th March 2025 at the CMMT Lab, Mechanical Block, KPRIET. Mr. Senthil Prabhu, a Level III NDT Trainer from Sedan Inspection Services, delivered an insightful session covering essential NDT techniques and their industrial applications. The session provided hands-on exposure to various inspection methods, enhancing students' understanding of quality assurance. Participants gained practical knowledge of ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, magnetic particle testing, and liquid penetrant testing. The interactive nature of the session allowed students to clarify doubts and understand real-world challenges in NDT applications. Industry case studies and live demonstrations helped bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical implementation. The training improved students' employability skills and preparedness for industry roles. Positive feedback was received from attendees, who appreciated the engaging and informative approach.
