To celebrate IEEE PES Day 2025, the IEEE Power and Energy Society at KPRIET hosted a Project Contest aimed at encouraging innovation and technical creativity among students. A total of 20 teams participated, showcasing innovative projects in the field of renewable energy, electric mobility, and power systems.
The event offered a platform for students to present their ideas and working models, with no registration fee, e-certificates for all, and exciting cash prizes for the best teams. A panel of expert judges evaluated the projects based on creativity, feasibility, and technical merit.
Top three teams were awarded prizes, and all participants were recognized with certificates. The event successfully fostered a spirit of innovation and provided valuable exposure to young engineers.
