WHY CAREER IS IMPORTANT?, KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

On January 10, 2022, the Department of Civil Engineering at the KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology had a seminar on “why career is important?”. This program's key objective is to make student aware of the importance of career growth and how to become a successful entrepreneur in the future. Through career development, students can better understand who they are, what they enjoy doing, and what they are best at. Through this activity, students are taught the importance of career planning and growth, with the main objective being to make them aware of the purpose of career planning. Students received knowledge on the importance of entrepreneurship, leadership qualities, and choosing career fields. They have the capacity to develop themselves and get ready to manage an organization and all of its uncertainties in order to make it successful. The event was primarily targeted to students who all aspire to become successful entrepreneurs in the future. 35 students participated in total, and at the end of the session, an exercise was conducted to assist the students to learn more about themselves.
