The Department of Computer Science and Engineering successfully conducted the Value Added Course titled "U21VCS07 - Machine Learning Fundamentals for Real-Time Applications" from 21st October to 7th November 2024, between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM in physical mode. The course was attended by 60 enthusiastic second- and third-year CSE students, who gained foundational knowledge and practical exposure to key machine learning concepts and their applications in real-time scenarios.
The sessions were effectively handled by Mr. D. Premkumar, Assistant Professor (Sr.G) / CSE, who provided comprehensive insights through interactive lectures, hands-on demonstrations, and real-world case studies.
By the end of the course, students were able to:
Understand the core principles of machine learning.
Implement basic ML algorithms using Python.
Analyze real-time datasets and apply suitable models.
Develop small-scale projects demonstrating real-time applications of ML.
The course received positive feedback from participants and significantly contributed to enhancing their technical skill sets and industry readiness.
