The Solar Plant Design Workshop was successfully conducted with an enthusiastic participation of nearly 113 students from various departments. The event aimed to enhance the practical knowledge of students in designing solar power plants using industry-standard tools.
During the workshop, participants were introduced to PVsyst software, a widely used tool for solar photovoltaic system design and simulation. The resource person provided a detailed walkthrough of various aspects of solar plant design, including system sizing, energy production estimation, shading analysis, and performance ratio evaluation.
The session was interactive, allowing students to engage in hands-on activities and clarify their doubts in real time. Through this workshop, students gained valuable insights into the technical and commercial considerations involved in solar plant projects, improving their readiness for careers in renewable energy.
