The Road Safety and Helmet Awareness event was successfully conducted by the KPRIET Uyir Club on 9 April 2025. Spearheaded by the Uyir Club Head and actively supported by student volunteers, the event aimed to spread awareness about the importance of wearing helmets and following road safety rules to support the larger vision of making Coimbatore an accident-free city. A total of 72 students from various departments participated in the event. They were sensitized to the significance of safe driving practices and the life-saving role of wearing helmets while riding two-wheelers. As a part of the awareness initiative, all participating students took an oath to always drive safely and responsibly. The event effectively emphasized individual responsibility in ensuring road safety and instilled a strong sense of commitment among the student community to be more conscious and disciplined road users.
