The Society for Smart E-Mobility (SSEM) successfully organized the Fourth Edition of World Electric Vehicle Day Roadshow, Rally & Exhibition on September 9, 2025 at Race Course, Coimbatore. The event commenced at 7:00 AM from the starting point opposite to the Income Tax Office, Race Course, Coimbatore.
The rally was officially flagged off by distinguished dignitaries:
Pawankumar Giriyappanavar - District Collector, Coimbatore (Chief Guest)
Saravana Sundar - Police Commissioner, Coimbatore (Guest of Honor)
Sivaguru Prabakaran - Corporation Commissioner, Coimbatore (Guest of Honor)
The event witnessed significant participation with:
50-60 electric vehicles (2-wheelers, 3-wheelers, and 4-wheelers)
Over 200 members including SSEM members, non-members, senior industrialists, general public, and students from various institutions
SSEM student members from participating institutes attended along with faculty members, demonstrating strong academic involvement in e-mobility awareness.
