The Two-Day Hands-on Workshop on MATLAB, organized by the Department of Engineering Mathematics, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, was successfully conducted on 15th and 16th September 2025. The event aimed to provide faculty members, research scholars, and students with practical exposure to MATLAB and its applications in engineering and scientific problem-solving. The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty, research scholars, and students across various branches of engineering. Participants actively engaged in hands-on sessions, practiced MATLAB commands, and explored the integration of MATLAB in both academics and research. The collaborative support of faculty members, non-teaching staff, and research scholars greatly contributed to the smooth organization of the event. The workshop not only enhanced the participants’ technical skills but also motivated them to adopt MATLAB as a powerful tool in their academic projects and future research endeavors. Overall, the event was highly successful in achieving its objectives, fostering knowledge sharing, skill enhancement, and academic collaboration, and it received excellent feedback from all participants.
