Workshop Report: Data Analysis using JASP
The Department of Engineering Mathematics, KPRIET organized a one-day workshop on “Data Analysis using JASP” on 11th October 2025. The workshop was designed to provide hands-on exposure to modern statistical analysis techniques using the JASP software.
The resource person, Dr. K. Alagirisamy, delivered an insightful session that introduced participants to the features and applications of JASP for data analysis, emphasizing its user-friendly interface and statistical capabilities. The session covered various aspects such as data import, descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and visualization tools in JASP.
The workshop attracted enthusiastic participation from M.Tech Data Science students and research scholars, who gained valuable practical knowledge and skills relevant to their academic and research pursuits. The interactive nature of the workshop allowed participants to clarify doubts and perform live demonstrations under expert guidance.
