The Department of Mechatronics Engineering, in association with IEEE RAS, IEEE VTS, and MI QUINIX (Mechatronics Student Association), successfully conducted a two-day national-level hands-on workshop titled “Robotics with Industry 5.0” on 14th October 2025 as part of the four-day technical fest Chakravyuha 2025, held from 13th to 16th October 2025. The workshop aimed to provide participants with practical exposure to advanced robotics and Industry 5.0 technologies. A total of 68 participants from various institutions took part in this event. The sessions covered a wide range of topics, including 6-axis collaborative robots (cobots), KUKA industrial robots, Mover 4HD robot, 3-axis gantry robot, Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV), ERP system integration, and pneumatic actuators. The workshop offered both theoretical insights and live hands-on training sessions, enabling students to understand the real-time functioning of industrial automation systems.
