CAD RIDDLE 2.0, KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

The Department of Civil Engineering of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology conducted a contest “CAD RIDDLE 2.0” on Jan 8, 2023. The main aim of this Contest is to make the students to design and draw the Building Plan as per the given requirement and also to test their creativity level of brief basic and advanced amenities in construction sectors. Totally 36 student participants and 2 faculty members from various colleges in India, like NIT-Calicut, NIT Rourkela, IIEST-Shibpur, and Lovely Provisional University-Punjab, have participated in the contest through online. In this contest, participants are instructed to create the general layout of the house in their innovative ways with additional features like a backyard with a cattle shed, and in-front car parking with a garden. And also, instructed to write an abstract not more than 250 words in which it must describe a feasible solution for the project to become environmentally friendly and sustainable
