AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON "OPPORTUNITIES IN VARIOUS GOVERNMENT SECTORS AND HIGHER EDUCATION THROUGH COMMUNITY RESERVATION", KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

1. To create an awareness on the Opportunities in Various Government Sectors and Higher Education through Community Reservation
2. To inform the merit scholarships in Higher Education and also job opportunities in the Government Sectors

SC/ST Cell and Student Affairs jointly organized Awareness Programme on 20.1.23 at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Arasur, Coimbatore. The real aim and outcome of the event is a) To create an awareness on the Opportunities in Various Government Sectors and Higher Education through Community Reservation. b) To inform the merit scholarships in Higher Education and also job opportunities in the Government Sectors. Dr. V. Kumar Chinnaiyan, Director/Student Affairs, Dr. S. Anandaraj, AP(Sr.G)/Civil & Nodal Officer/SCST Cell are the convenors of the event. Dr.M.Kumar ASP/Mech, Dr.M.Prakash AP(Sl.G)/Maths & Mr.Nitin Raut AP(Sr.G)/CS are the Coordinators of the event. The program was planned for the SC/ST students of I, II, III & IV Year. Dr. R. Saranya, Head Carrer Advancement Cell delivered talk on  Career Opportunities in Higher Education. She also delivered the importance of GATE, IELTS & GRE exams and higher education opportunities in Abroad. Also delivered the cut of marks required for higher education in reputed universities in abroad. Following Dr. M.Prakash delivered an expert talk on "Career Opportunities in Various Government Sector". He said the various Scholarships opportunities available for SC/ST Students. The major content on his talk was about the Government job opportunities in various sectors through community reservation. Also informed about the eligible cut of marks required for goverment exams. Students were asked their clarifications and shared their feedback. The session was ended with thanks note by Dr. S. Anandaraj. The entire session conveyed the importance of Job Opportunities in various government sectors and Higher education opportunities.
