Summary
The act of analyzing a circuit and detecting and correcting any errors is called "circuit debugging." Circuit debugging helps get rid of problems associated with the circuit. By circuit debugging, any circuit malfunction is corrected and the circuit can give the desired performance. The various debugging techniques are: simplifying the complex data, dividing and conquering, slowing down the process, and changing only one variable at a time. The number of participant is 2 per team and the circuits are from basics that has to be corrected in a duration of 20 minutes. The program started at 2:00 PM with 19 teams (34 participants). The event was conducted in two rounds. The first round included 15 questions, five of which were multiple-choice, and the remaining nine were based on circuit analysis. The time duration for the first round was 20 minutes. Based on the evaluation of the first round, seven teams out of 19 were selected for the second round. The time duration for the second round was also 20 minutes. The second round included six questions, three of which were multiple-choice, and the remaining nine were based on circuit analysis. Prize winners List >> First prize was bagged by Mr. M. Raguramakrishnan and Mr. B. Lokesh of Sona College of Technology, Salem. The winners were awarded a shield, a cash prize of Rs. 1000, and an internship offer. >> Second Prize was bagged by Mr. A Mohammad Ibrahim and Mr. M Nitish of Sona College of Technology, Salem. The runners were awarded a cash prize of Rs. 500.
