KPR Institute of Engineering & Technology has signed an MoU with FICE to implement the Intel® College Excellence Program at their institute. The memorandum entailed the establishment of Intel® Intelligent Systems Lab with associated curriculum, training of the trainers and students, and mentoring along with ongoing collaboration/support. FICE team used different delivery methodologies (in-person engagement, remote engagement, showcase) to deliver the content and engage the participants in hands-on experimentation and development during the course of the program.In a time when technologies like (IOT) are experiencing an immense boom, KPR Institute of Engineering & Technology, in collaboration with FICE, has put commendable efforts to make its peers AI-ready. The Intel® College Excellence Program achieved its objectives and goals and created the intended impact among its 71 participants - empowered with market-relevant skills and technical understanding, and the institute - with a state-of-art, sustainable technical infrastructure.
This hands-on training was aimed at:
- Getting comfortable with the hardware and software tools/platforms
- Drafting a project plan.
- Developing end to end solutions.
- Applying program knowledge and skills in a real-world setting.
- Building a network of engineering and industry professional colleagues.
- Working effectively on a team to achieve a goal.
- Solving problems using critical thinking.
- Communicating your ideas and work in a professional manner.
The quantitative evaluation of the participants resulted in 71 participants successfully completing the program with an average score of (100%).
