The Department of Chemistry organized a webinar titled “Applications of Porphyrin Materials in Molecular Electronics and Biomedical Sciences” on 17th August, 2023 (2.30 PM to 4.00 PM) via Google meet. The resource person of the event was Dr. P. Kalimuthu, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, The Gandhigram Rural Institute, Dindigul, Tamil Nadu.
The webinar focused on the Porphyrin Materials and its application in the field of Molecular Electronics and Biomedical Sciences. The webinar was conducted with 50 members of Faculty, Research scholars and Students of KPRIET, Coimbatore. Other than the Chemistry Research Scholars and Faculty members, students from Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering were benefitted through the webinar. The interactive session after the talk was also really informative. The participants include the Research Scholars of SRMIST, Kattankulathur and NIT Rourkela.
