The Department of Civil Engineering proudly hosted an online workshop on 'Sustainable and Lean Construction' exclusively for its Honors students. This enriching program, held as part of a collaborative Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Marutham Group, featured Dr. S. Jeyachandran, Senior Vice President, as the keynote speaker.
Dr. Jeyachandran's insightful talk delved deep into the principles and practices of sustainable and lean construction. He equipped the students with knowledge on how to optimize resource utilization, minimize waste throughout the construction process, and design structures that are environmentally friendly.
