Students were aboe to know about innovation and gained knowledge on how to find problems and fix them by innovating new products as a solution.
The IETE Students' Forum and Office of Alumni Relations of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized an Guest Lecturer on 'Innovate Technology' on 20th January 2024. Mr. G. Sanjay of ECE 2018 - 2022 batch is know working as Engineer at Forge.Labs, Forge Innovation and Venturers was invited to deliver insights on technology innovation for our third year ECE students. He started the session through his work experience and continued to provide steps on innovating technology.
He also addressed the problems faced by Startups and how students should have a unique goal when facing challenges and hurdles to become entrepreneurs. Students were provided insights on identifying problem statements, brainstorming ideas, exposure to prototyping tools and how to prepare a pitch deck and present before an audience. The event aimed to inspire students and aspiring Startups to take up entrepreneurship by fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in higher educational institutes. He also shared how to find pain points to build a Startup and the mindset required to be an entrepreneur. Students interacted with him and got clarification for the doubts raised by them.
