The Department of Civil Engineering, in collaboration with the Office of Admissions, orchestrated an illuminating Career Counselling Program for school students on August 17th at 9:30 AM in the esteemed Thanam Hall. The attendees consisted of enthusiastic school students & dedicated faculty members of MNC Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Neelambur.
The event kicked off with a gracious welcome address by Dr. Raju, the Associate Head of the Office of Admissions. Dr. Raju's eloquent speech set the tone for the event, underscoring the significance of early career planning and the importance of making well-informed choices.
The highlight of the program was the captivating career counseling session delivered by the eminent clinical psychologist, Babu Rangarajan. Mr. Rangarajan's presentation was a perfect blend of knowledge and inspiration, seamlessly integrating psychological insights with practical advice tailored for young minds. His engaging approach elicited active participation from the young audience, fostering an environment of curiosity and exploration.
The event culminated with an immersive visit to the Centre of Excellence within the college premises. Led by dedicated faculty members, the school students were treated to a firsthand experience of advanced facilities and ongoing research projects within the Centre.
