Establishment and Inaugural ceremony of Information Technology Association “invaderZ”.
The inaugural ceremony of Information Technology Association “invaderZ” was held on 27th October 2023 at Thanam Hall, KPRIET. The event was organized to officially launch the IT Association and set the tone for the association’s activities for the upcoming academic year. The program commenced with a soulful prayer song that set a serene and harmonious atmosphere for the event. Following the prayer song, we proudly presented KPR Anthem, which instilled a sense of pride and unity among attendees followed by lighting of the lamp, as a symbol of knowledge, positivity and enlightenment.
Dr. T. Sivakumar, Head of the Department, addressed the gathering and shared his valuable insights and guidance. His leadership has been instrumental in fostering a thriving academic environment. His insights and expertise has greatly contributed to the quality and depth of this event and his introduction of the Association members highlighted the team's dedication.
Dr. M. Ramasamy, Principal - KPRIET, delivered a felicitation address that resonated with the crowd. His speech emphasized the importance of unity, collaboration, and innovation within the department, providing words of encouragement for the new beginning.
The remarkable achievements of the students during the year 2022-2023 were proudly presented through a video which showcased their accomplishments and their outstanding contributions which inspired others to reach greater heights and make a positive impact in our field. The recognition of outstanding achievements not only served as a motivation for the awardees but also highlighted the department's commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a culture of excellence.
We had the privilege of hosting a distinguished Chief Guest, Mr. Pradeep Menon Perinchery, who delivered an insightful speech on the 'Origin of Cybersecurity' and the 'Scope for Cyber Security Engineers.' His words were enlightening and left a profound impact on the students. Mr. Perinchery encouraged all members to think innovatively, embrace change, and continually strive for improvement. His speech motivated us to aim for excellence and make the IT Association a hub of innovation and collaboration. We are truly grateful for his presence and insightful words.
The inaugural ceremony received an overwhelmingly positive response from attendees, igniting excitement and enthusiasm for the upcoming activities planned by the IT Association. We are fully committed to organizing a diverse range of events, workshops, and initiatives throughout the academic year to promote learning, collaboration, and personal development within our department.
Ms. Muthulakshmi, Faculty Coordinator, concluded the ceremony with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks on behalf of the department.
