The Value-added course titled 'Healthcare IOT' has been conducted for II year IT students (Batch 2022-2026) on 17.11.2023 & 18.11.2023. The two days course will be conducted in offline mode with Hands-on experience. There are 55 students have been actively participated in the two days workshop.
The Resource person of the workshop was Dr.B.Ezhilavan.
We have conducted Pre assessment for the students before starting of the workshop. In the First day session was started with Introduction to IOT and its advantages in today's world.
The Topics covered are as follows:
* Introduction to IoT
* Applications of IoT
* Introduction to Arduino
Working with Various Sensors
* Application Development using Various Sensors.
The Second session covered about the Hardware and Software requirements for developing Projects. From the third session onwards Hands on session was conducted to the students.
For better learning we have divided the students in to Teams for doing projects. Students are provided with Hardware equipment's(Board, Chip, Cable...etc) and students installed required Software in their Laptop thru link shared to them. The Technical resource persons were explained and given demo for a sample project. By keeping that as a base students are given new task to be completed as a Team.
The Second day also fully covered with Hands-on Session using Arduino and Raspberry Pi software and projects related to Healthcare. At the end of the day we have conducted Post Assessment test for the students.
