The chief guests who are experts in various disciplines, interacted with students and shared their personal and official journey so as to reach their respective positions in the working community. The students had many take aways which were discussed during the summit. The women faculty team also provided insights about the triumphs faced while acquiring a successful career.
Ms. Jincy Denny welcomed the gathering. Dr. Devi Priya R, Head of the department, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, delivered special address in connection to International Women's Day celebrations. Dr. Nisha Soms introduced the four chief guests to the august gathering. The audience comprised of thirty one students and eleven faculty members. The notion of the summit was to share the beautiful journey embarked on by the resource persons. Hence they shared their experiences one by one. Each invitee shared unique points that are important for the young budding female graduates to remember and practice. Various life lessons were discussed and the interaction among the participants and guests is truly inspiring. A few students shared their views about education and career which added more color for discussion in the Summit. A video created by the students about each guest was played during the meet and it added positivity among the female gathering. The summit lasted for one hour and a half with interesting query sessions and feedback. Ms. Mouthami K, delivered the vote of thanks.
