The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore organized One Week Faculty Development Programme on “Revolutionizing Industries: AI's Impact in Today's World' from 20.03.2024 to 26.03.2024. The event started with registration from the various engineering colleges. A total of 109 participants registered for the event and participated. Dr.S.V.Sudha Head-AI &DS delivered the welcome address. Dr.S.N.Deepa of National Institute of Technology Calicut demonstrated the various machine learning models for handling Big data on 20.03.2024.

Dr. Amol Bhopale of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur explored NLP and AI opportunities from Text to Tech on 21.03.2024. Dr. J.Vijaya of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur demonstrated the Role of Optimization algorithms in Artificial Intelligence on 22.03.2024. Dr. Srinivasa Rao Battula of University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad illustrated the Opportunities and challenges in Deep Learning for Medical Image Analysis on 23.03.2024. Dr. Sachi Nandan Mohanty of VIT-AP University, Andhra Pradesh demonstrated CNN Applications for Lung cancer Detection on 25.03.2024. Dr. Nileshchandra Pikle of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur explained the working principles of Generative Adversarial Network on 26.03.2024. Finally session ended by collecting feedback from the participants and delivered vote of thanks,
