Summary

The Fiesta Hackathon commenced with an inspiring opening ceremony, creating an atmosphere of creativity and innovation. Teams delved into coding, designing, prototyping, and testing their solutions during the hacking sessions, supported by mentors and experts. Participants seized networking opportunities to connect with peers, industry professionals, and sponsors, fostering collaborations. Informative breakout sessions on emerging technologies and best practices enhanced the participants' experience. The judging panel evaluated projects based on innovation, technical complexity, feasibility, and impact, culminating in an awards ceremony that honored the outstanding efforts and achievements of the teams.

On 27th March 2024, an exciting hackathon took place during Fiesta 2024, where a total of six teams showcased their skills and creativity. The event was a testament to the innovation and talent present among the participating students.

The winning teams of the hackathon are as follows:

  1. Dex Coders from Karpagam College of Engineering, Coimbatore, secured the first place. Their exceptional coding skills and innovative solutions earned them the prestigious title. As a reward for their hard work and dedication, Dex Coders received a cash prize of Rs 3000.

  2. Error 404 from National Engineering College, Kovilpatti, claimed the second place. Their project demonstrated technical proficiency and problem-solving abilities, reflecting their commitment to excellence. Error 404 was awarded a cash prize of Rs 2000 for their outstanding performance.

  3. Metazord from KGiSL Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, clinched the third place in the hackathon. Their project showcased creativity and ingenuity, highlighting their potential in the field of technology. Metazord received a cash prize of Rs 1000 as recognition for their impressive achievement.
