THE POWER OF BODY LANGUAGE IN EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION, KPR Institute Engineering and Technology, Autonomous Engineering Institution, Coimbatore, India

The webinar on "The Power of Body Language in Effective Communication" achieved its objectives, leading to the following outcomes:
·         Increased awareness among students about the impact of body language on communication.
·         Enhanced understanding of various aspects of body language and their role in conveying messages effectively.
·         Practical knowledge and techniques for improving body language skills, such as maintaining good posture, using appropriate gestures, and establishing eye contact.
·         Improved ability to interpret and respond to nonverbal cues, leading to more effective communication in personal and professional settings.
·         Empowerment of students with valuable tools to enhance their overall communication skills.

The webinar on "The Power of Body Language in Effective Communication" was successfully conducted on 24th May 2023 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Organized by the Department of English in association with ELT@I (English Language Teachers' Association of India), the event aimed to provide students with valuable insights into the significance of body language in enhancing their communication skills. There were 55 participants in the webinar. Dr. A. Marish, Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Yadava College, served as the esteemed resource person for the webinar.
Dr. Marish's expertise in nonverbal communication and body language brought immense value to the event. Their engaging presentation covered various aspects of body language, including facial expressions, gestures, posture, and eye contact. Through real-life examples and interactive exercises, Dr. Marish effectively conveyed the importance of these nonverbal cues in effective communication. Participants were actively involved in the session, asking questions and sharing their insights, which created a collaborative and enriching learning environment.
The webinar received a positive response from the students, with a significant turnout of participants. Attendees expressed their gratitude for Dr. Marish's valuable insights and practical tips.
