In a commendable display of social responsibility, the Department of Civil Engineering at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, extended their support to the local community by donating two almirahs to the Government Higher Secondary School in Chinniyampalayam. The generous contribution is aimed at enhancing the school's infrastructure and providing a conducive environment for the students.
The donation ceremony took place on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at the premises of the Government Higher Secondary School, Chinniyampalayam. The event witnessed the presence of the school Headmaster, staff members as well as representatives Dr. G. Anusha, Head/Civil, and 2 faculty members from the Department of Civil Engineering at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Dr. G. Anusha, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, expressed her delight at the opportunity to contribute to the development of education in the community. She emphasized the importance of educational institutions and their role in shaping the future of the nation. Dr. Anusha further stated, "We are pleased to extend our support to the Government Higher Secondary School in Chinniyampalayam. We hope that the donation of these almirahs will assist the students in maintaining a well-organized academic life.
The Headmaster of the Government Higher Secondary School, Chinniyampalayam thanked the KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology Management for their generous contribution. He acknowledged the significance of the almirahs in improving the learning experience for the students. And further, he added "This donation will positively impact our students and help create a more efficient and disciplined educational atmosphere. We are grateful to the Department of Civil Engineering for their valuable support"
