The workshop introduces a free and opensource chemical process simulator named DWSIM to Chemical Engineering students. Introduction and Overview will be presented by Dr. Bharathi Ganesan R and hands on explanation will be provided by Mr. Vasanth P and Mr. Gowtheeswaran S. The topics that will be covered are a) basic steps involved in creating a flowsheet in DWSIM, b) explanation of a mixer, c) working of conversion/Gibbs reactor and d) dynamic simulation of a tank height. This workshop and software will help students to understand various process operations in Chemical Engineering.
