Summary

The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore, organized an inaugural function to introduce an executive members of the department association “SPARTRANZ-24” and various professional chapters of the IEEE Electron Devices Society (IEEE-ED), IEEE Communication Society (IEEE-CS), and Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) students forum, Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), on August 17, 2024, at Thanam Hall between 09:30 and 10:30 am. Mr. Hareesh Hariraman, MCU application engineer, Texas Instruments, USA, was the chief guest of the inaugural function. Dr.J. Indra, Professor & Head (Division-C), introduces the chief guest and the session handovers to the resource person. Mr. Hareesh Hariraman actively interacted with the students and delivered a talk on “opportunities of embedded design in industry." Dr.M. Kathirvelu, Professor & Head (Division B), addresses the objective of professional society bodies and their role in education institutions. The faculty coordinators of each society, Dr. M. Kathirvelu (IEEE-ED), Dr. S. Finney Daniel Shadrach (IEEE-CS), Dr. J. Muraliharan (ISTE), Mr. G.K. Jakir Hussain (IETE), and Dr. J. Prasad (Spartranz), introduce the executive members. Dr. M. Kalamani, Professor & Head (Division A) delivered the vote of thanks.
