KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology successfully organized a one-week Online Faculty

Development Program (FDP) on “Empowering Healthcare with AI and ML: Advances and

Applications” from 17.02.2025 to 22.02.2025 sponsored by AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL)

Academy. This FDP aimed to provide an in-depth understanding of how Artificial Intelligence (AI)

and Machine Learning (ML) are revolutionizing the healthcare industry by enabling smarter

diagnostics, efficient medical data analysis, and innovative treatment methodologies. The event

commenced with a warm welcome address delivered by the Head of the Department, Dr.M.Kathirvelu,

followed by an insightful introductory note on the FDP program and its various domains by the

Division head, Dr.M.Kalamani. The event was officially launched by the Coordinator, Dr.K.Murugan,

who provided clear instructions and guidance to the participants. The program concluded on

22.02.2025, with a Vote of Thanks proposed by the Co-Coordinator, marking the successful

completion of the FDP.
