On March 14, 2025, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in partnership with IETE and Spatranz, organized a workshop on the topic of "PCB DESIGN and FABRICATION" at Centre for PCB on campus. Led by the guidance of DR.S.Finney Daniel sir, this vibrant workshop took place from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, attracting 200+ participants.
The objectives of a Workshop on PCB (Printed Circuit Board) Design and Fabrication are to provide participants with hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of the entire PCB development process, from designing the circuit to fabricating and testing the physical board.
This workshop targets individuals interested in electronics, electrical engineering, or related fields, providing the skills necessary for designing and producing functional PCBs. A PCB Workshop provides invaluable hands-on experience in PCB design, fabrication, and assembly. It equips participants with the skills necessary to create functional PCBs, troubleshoot and test them, and understand the industry standards that govern PCB manufacturing. These skills are essential for anyone interested in electronics, whether they are hobbyists, students, or professionals working in industries such as consumer electronics, automotive, telecommunications, and medical devices.
