The Department of ECE and IEEE KPRIET Communication Society successfully conducted a two-day workshop on “PCB Manufacturing” on 14th and 15th February 2025 at the Centre for PCB Design. The workshop provided an in-depth, hands-on experience in printed circuit board design and manufacturing for over 60 participants from the Electronics and Communication Engineering department. Attendees learned the complete PCB development cycle, including schematic drawing, layout design, board printing, etching, and soldering techniques. The sessions emphasized industry-relevant tools and safety practices, enhancing both theoretical understanding and practical skills. Participants actively engaged in fabricating their own single-layer PCBs, which significantly boosted their confidence in electronic hardware development. The interactive nature of the workshop allowed students to clarify technical doubts and receive real-time feedback from the expert.
