The Hackzilla 2025 event was conducted successfully with the enthusiastic participation of 500 students from diverse institutions, creating a vibrant platform for innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving. Participants worked in teams on real-world problem statements across domains such as AI, IoT, sustainability, and smart systems, resulting in the development of several innovative prototypes. The event featured mentoring sessions from industry experts and faculty, which helped participants refine their solutions and gain practical exposure. The valedictory function was graced by Mr. M. Sai Prashanth, Chair, Student Activities, IEEE ComSoc Member Services Board, and Dr. Rajanikanth Aluvalu, Director, Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, who also presented prizes to the winning teams and shared inspiring messages with the participants. The hackathon not only enhanced students’ technical, teamwork, and presentation skills but also provided strong industry-academia connect, paving the way for future collaborations and project incubation. Overall, the event was a grand success, leaving a lasting impact on participants by motivating them to pursue innovation and entrepreneurship.
