The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized an Expert Lecture on the topic “Electrical Energy Utilization and Cost Estimation for Sustainable Power Systems with Solar Integration” on 26th August 2025 (Tuesday) from 11.00 AM to 12.30 PM. The session was conducted exclusively for second and third-year EEE students to provide valuable insights into sustainable energy utilization practices.
The resource person, Mr. S. Rajkumar, EMS Engineer, NIRT Renewable Energy Private Limited, Salem, delivered the lecture. He highlighted the importance of efficient energy utilization, cost estimation methodologies, and solar energy integration in modern power systems. The talk emphasized practical applications and industrial perspectives, encouraging students to adopt energy-efficient approaches that support a cleaner and greener future.
The session was well-received by the participants, who gained exposure to real-world renewable energy technologies and their role in sustainable development.
