The Department of Civil Engineering, KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology, successfully organized KALLIKRATES’25, a one-day national-level technical symposium on 24th October 2025. The event aimed to promote innovation, critical thinking, and collaborative learning among aspiring civil engineers.
This year’s edition featured a blend of technical and non-technical events, including PaperQuest, Idea Launch – Business Pitch, Braingears, Plot Twist, Connections, and Cric-Bid Carnival. A hands-on Workshop on Media Thinking, conducted by JD Education and Training, further enhanced participants’ creative and problem-solving skills.
The symposium witnessed enthusiastic participation from institutions across Tamil Nadu, reflecting its growing impact and recognition. The success of KALLIKRATES’25 is attributed to the dedicated efforts of the faculty members, student coordinators, and the Civil Engineering Students’ Association team, under the guidance of Dr. K. S. Elango, Professor and Head of the Department. The department extends heartfelt gratitude to the management for their continuous support and encouragement.
