The Value Added Course “Signal and Image Analysis using MATLAB Tools” was conducted to provide students with hands-on exposure to signal processing and image analysis techniques using MATLAB. The session introduced students to the MATLAB environment, basic coding, signal filtering, Fourier analysis, and essential operations in image enhancement, segmentation, and feature extraction. Practical demonstrations and interactive exercises enabled participants to understand real-time applications of MATLAB in engineering and research.
The event successfully strengthened students’ technical skills, improved their analytical abilities, and enhanced their confidence in applying MATLAB to academic projects and future research work. Overall, the program received positive feedback and achieved its intended learning outcomes.
